Jurisdictional police station (Kyathasandra)  was directed by Karnataka Court to register FIR against Hindi film actor Kangana Ranaut for her to eat on farmers opposing the farmers' bill by a Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) at Tumkur (Karnataka). 

Ranaut has allegedly posted a tweet from her Twitter account ‘@ Kangana team’ on 21st September 2020 saying: “People who spread misinformation and rumours about CAA that caused riots are the same people who are now spreading misinformation about Farmer's bill and causing terror in the nation, they are Terrorists. You very well know what I said but simply like to spread misinformation”. The complaint was filed by learned Advocate Ramesh Naik L  under section 156 (3) of the code of criminal procedure. It said that the content posted by Ranaut in her Twitter account has a clear intention to harm the people who are opposing the farmer bill willingly provoking to cause a riot and inciting the culture of violence in the tender Minds of youngsters in the society. Moreover, this tweet leads to an alleged clash between different groups. It was asserted that night neither the police authorities nor government took any action to check to curtail these activities suo-moto and failed to register any case against Ms. Ranaut, the accused. 

The complainant demanded to register FIR against the actor under section 153A, 504 and 108 of the Indian Penal Code
