Hidayatullah National Law University signs a MoU today with the State Planning Commission of Chhattisgarh in the presence of the Honourable Chief Minister and State Planning Board officials at a Virtual Signing ceremony held on 20th October 2020.

HNLU after signing this MOU with the State Planning Commission, Chhattisgarh will be the partner:

1. For the development and promotion of capacity building in areas of mutual interest.

2. Sharing information and knowledge on the areas of mutual benefits.

3. Sponsoring collaborative seminars, workshops, exposure visits and other meetings on matters of mutual interest.

4. Agreeing to share the findings of study carried out by the institution with other departments and agencies under the state government.

This Memorandum of Understanding shall be valid for a period of three years from the date of signature of parties. In case either party wishes to extend this MoU, it may be further extended for a period of one year by mutual consent.

On such a great occasion, Prof.V.C.Vivekanandan, Vice Chancellor of HNLU said, “ The initiative of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh is a very proactive and laudable step to involve the Universities in the State to partner the development projects. This could be the first time in the country for a State to augment the resources of the Universities in the policy making process and inputs. This imitative will certainly catapult the State which is one of the fastest growing State in all indexes. The Research Cluster of Law and Public Policy at HNLU will take up this in all earnestness to provide the necessary inputs for SPC.”
