Senior advocate Sriram Panchu
has been appointed as the mediator for the dispute between two equity partners of L&L partners Rajiv Luthra and Mohit Saraf by Honourable Delhi high court. Both the parties were directed to appear before the mediator preferably by October 17 by a single bench of Honourable Justice V Kameshwar Rao. The court noted that it will be Liberty of the mediator about deciding the which will be shared equally by both the parties. Both the parties showed the willingness to resolve their differences through the process of mediation. The two senior-most partners at L&L Partners have been engaged in a dispute over the delusion of a firm’s equity. Mohit Saraf had demanded interim orders from the Honourable High Court regarding alleged termination of his partnership by Rajiv Luthra. Saraf’s play contended that he cannot be summarily thrown out of the firm using strong-arm tactics. The matter will be taken up on October 20 by the court.
