About Criminal Law Review
Criminal Law Review (CrLR) is a legal start-up which began operations in Jan 2018. CrLR works tirelessly to assist the legal fraternity in the field of Criminal Law. It started as a criminal law blog, and is now working towards establishing itself as a full-fledged research organization.

1. Eligibility
Participation is open to all (including those from non-law background)

2. Registration Process
2.1. Interested candidates are required to pay the registration fee i.e., Rs. 100.2.2. Mode of payment: Paytm and Google Pay: +91- 81728902122.3. Once you have made the payment, please fill the form (Click here to fill the form)

3.1. Registration Deadline – 22nd May 20203.2. Date of the Quiz – 23rd May 2020 – Time 11:00 AM
4. Rules
4.1. There will be two rounds – Preliminary & Finale (only MCQs)
Preliminary Round
4.2. Preliminary round will have a total of 25 questions.4.3. A google form with 25 questions will be floated (via mail) at sharp 11:00 PM. You will have 10 minutes to answer and submit the form. (Late submissions will be disqualified)
4.4. Each correct answer gives you 1 point while a wrong answer gives -0.25 point.4.5. Question No. 48121620 and 24 are bonus questions, while Question No. 714, and 21 are double bonus questions.4.6. If the scores are tied in preliminary rounds, points scored in bonus questions would be considered. If there is still a tie, points obtain in double bonus questions would be considered.4.7. Top 8 teams from the preliminary round will qualify into the Finale.4.8. The Finale will begin at 1:35 PM on the same day i.e. 9th May.
4.9. Illustration:
4.9.1. If ‘A, B, C’ all scored 10.25 each, ‘D and E’ scored 10, ‘F, G, H & I’ scored 9 each.4.9.2. ‘A, B, C, D, E’ will automatically qualify, while ‘F, G, H & I’ will have to qualify ‘bonus test’ and if required, ‘double bonus test’ as well.4.10. Results of this round will announced at 2:30 PM on the same day i.e., May 23, 2020.
Finale
4.11. The Finale will be conducted on ‘Cisco WebEx’ app [through video meeting]. Please keep it ready and installed.4.12. The Finale will commence at 3:00 PM. There will be a total of 10 questions. (Since rules for the Finale are different, we will first explain the rules in the video meeting).4.13. Each question will be displayed on the screen for 40 seconds and teams will have to answer in the chat box. The first three correct answers will be given 5 points, 3 points and 1 points. All wrong answers get (-1) point.4.13.1. Illustration – Say correct answer is option (a)- 5 teams- T1, T2, T3, T4 & T5- answered and their responses are (b), (a), (a), (c) and (a) respectively. Then, T2, T3 & T5 will get 5 points, 3 points and 1 point respectively. While T1 &T4 will get (-1) point each.4.14. If there is a tie, then the finale round will continue but only with teams having top 3 scores.4.14.1. Illustration – Say, scores are as follows – T1: 12 points, T2: 12 points, T3: 11 points, T4: 10 points, T5: 10 points, T6: 9 points, T7: 8 points, T8: 7 points. Then,
