IPEM Law Academy is going to organize 2nd DR. B.S. GOEL MEMORIAL NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION from 28th-29th August 2021 at the premises of the IPEM Law Academy, Ghaziabad.

About Moot Court
The objective of this Moot Court competition is to give exposure to the students pursuing B.A.LL.B/LL.B programme to environment of court room system in India and to explore their advocacy skills, presenting argument and contributing to the development of law in the area of Moot Court Problem.

Eligibility
The Competition is open for students pursuing B.A.LL.B. (5 years), LL.B (3 years) Degree Course from any recognized Law College/University subject to fulfilment of the registration formalities, and he/she must not exceed of age on the date of holding the competition. Only one team will be permitted to participate from one College/Institution/University. If two or more courses are running in an Institution, one team from each course will be permitted to participate.

Language 
The Competition shall be conducted in the English language only.

Team Composition
Each team shall consist of three members, (Two Speakers and One Researcher).

Deadline and Fees
The Moot Problem, Registration Form, and the detailed Rules & Regulations for the Moot Court Competition are attached herewith. Registration form should reach us either by speed post or courier on or before 30th June, 2021 along with Registration Fee of Rupees 2000/- through an online mode (Link for online payment https://www.ipemgzb.ac.in/online-fee-deposite.php) or a demand Draft drawn in favour of the IPEM Law Academy payable at Ghaziabad.

The Memorials and Counter Memorials are submitted on or before 31st July 2020 at IPEM Law Academy (six spiral-bound copies). 

Prizes
The following Prizes shall be awarded in the Competition: 
Best Team: The Team winning the final round of the Competition will get a E-Certificate and a Cash Prize of Rs. 11000/-. 
Runner Up Team: The Runner Up team of the final round of the Competition will get a E-Certificate and a Cash Prize of Rs. 7000/-.
Best Speaker: Best Speaker award shall be determined on the basis of the total marks secured during the court rounds. The Speaker will get a E-Certificate and Cash Prize of Rs. 4000/-. 
Best Memorial: The team having the highest average memorial score from both sides shall be given a E-Certificate and Cash Prize of Rs. 2500/-. 
Best Researcher: There shall be a Researcher test in the IPEM Law Academy and the Best Researcher will get a E-Certificate and Cash Prize of Rs. 2500/-. 
The Researcher Test will be conducted on 28th August from 10.00 A.M. onwards. Certificate of Participation shall be given to all the participating teams.
