Preface to the Workshop


The impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the society has been enormous. The implications of the pandemic range from macroeconomic effects to the deterioration of living standards of the downtrodden at the ground level. In this backdrop, it becomes pertinent to deliberate and discuss the role of human rights law in alleviating the suffering of the needy during challenging situations such as pandemics as a whole.


Eligibility to Participate


All law faculties, legal professionals, legal research scholars, law students pursuing under- graduation & post-graduation courses are eligible to participate in the virtual workshop.


Dates & Duration


The workshop will be conducted on 10th and 1th July 2020. The detailed itinerary of the workshop will be shared with the participants at the earliest. There will be four sessions in total with two sessions each on two days. 


Eminent speakers will discuss on various contemporary issues in the field of human rights. 


E-Certificate will be provided to all the participants. 


There is no registration fee for the workshop. 


The workshop will be held on Zoom platform.
